About Top EBike Rank

Top EBike Rank helps shoppers in the United States choose an electric bike. We publish buying guides and free interactive tools: a sizing and motor-power calculator, a round-trip range map and a lifestyle matcher that suggests e-bikes based on your body, riding style and terrain.

Which bikes we feature

We only feature e-bikes that are sold on Amazon.com at the time we check them. For each bike we record the specifications stated in its Amazon listing, such as motor power, battery capacity, wheel size, brakes and certifications, together with the date we checked. When a listing does not state a specification, we leave it blank instead of guessing. Amazon listings change, so always confirm the current details on the product page before you buy.

How we compare them

We do not physically test the bikes we feature. Our comparisons and tools are built from the published listing specifications and from our own calculations, for example our range estimate, which we work out from battery capacity. Our picks are editorial opinions based on those specifications. You can read the details in How We Choose & Compare E-Bikes.

How this site is funded

Top EBike Rank is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not accept paid reviews or free products in exchange for positive rankings. See our affiliate disclosure.

What we are not

We do not sell e-bikes, and we do not take orders or ship products. Purchases, prices, delivery and returns are handled entirely by Amazon and the sellers on Amazon. Our tools and guides are general information, not professional advice; always follow the manufacturer's instructions, check local e-bike rules and wear a helmet.
